I was just passing through with my dog for a one-night stay but had enough time to walk around in the pretty city of Amersfoort. Vicinity to the railway station plus a quiet, pet-friendly room were priorities - the room was big, clean, comfy and quiet, amenities were great and the breakfast excellent with vegetarian options. The location near the station and a short walk from main sights was perfect.

NH hotel has some of the best staff I've encountered at a hotel. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of options which was very good, I was extremely impressed. The location is also a great point for them; a less than 10 minute walk from both the train station and the city center. All in all a great stay in Amersfoort!

I liked the fact that the hotel offered refreshing and delicious complementary drinks, e.g. mineral water steeped in sprigs of mint, slices of cucumber/ lemon, as well as fruit. It’s such a great spot, walking distance from downtown, and the train station, and everything there is to see in amersfoort. It’s even an easy walk from the train station to the hotel with your luggage. The staff here is amazing. Absolutely amazing, and down to earth. It’s also just overall great, and up to date.
